Leaf Coasters

Bring a sense of the season to the table with photocopies of pressed leaves.

what you’Il need
Pressed leaves
Paper; glue stick
Color photocopier
Heavy paper
Scissors
Thick white crafts glue

1 Arrange pressed leaves of different shapes and colors on a sheet of paper, leaving a bit of space between them. Use a glue stick to secure the leaves to the paper. Make color copies of the sheet on heavy paper.
2 Cut out the leaves. Arrange the leaves as desired, using crafts glue to secure them lo one another.

Pretty Purse

Create a purse to coordinate with any outfit using a Iovely fabric napkin or place mat.

what you'll need

14x20-inch fabric place mat or 20x20-inch fabnc napkin
Scissors; needle and thread; sewing machine
Iron; 1 yard of satin cord or metal chain
Button orjewelry pm

1 Trim 0ff the hem from the place mat or napkin. Fold the fabrlc In hall Iengthwise with nght sides facing. Stitch lengthwise with th-inch seam ailowance. Press the seam open.
2 Center the seam of the tube and stitch across one end. Trim the corners and tum to right side. Foid the fabric piece in half lengthwise away from the seam and stitch through alI layers at raw edge.
3 Turn to form a point br front ftap.
4 FoId up bottom edge 6 to 7 inches depending on size of napkln or place mat; topstitch side seams close to edge and along point of flap. Stitch cord or chan handle at sides of purse. Sew on a button or attach a jewelry pm lo the flap.
